Marco, nice piece on the writer-editor relationship. In my own career, I’ve been fortunate enough to have had almost universally positive experiences, and knowing that an editor has your back provides more than just a safety net; it is a balm, a wonderful understanding that you’ve got a brother (or sister) in arms, somebody standing by your side, well equipped to assist, and perhaps even save the day if need be. It’s great to read about this from an editor’s perspective.

Thanks, David. I too count myself fortunate to have been in some first-class creative partnerships, present company included. 🙂
